The Solara Collection was inspired by the Sun King who was also known as Louis the Great king of France (Louis XIV) who ruled France for 72 years (1643-1715). He took the symbol of Apollo the god of sun and light as his personal emblem and adorned the ornate golden gates at the Palace of Versailles with this symbol. It has been given a clean modern and sophisticated aesthetic in these hoop earrings.

I purchased these earrings and the Solara necklace to match at my local Brighton boutique in Newport Beach, CA. This collection is gorgeous. I love the story behind the Solara collection and design of these unique jewelry pieces. The earrings are comfortable and I love the size - great size for a statement jewelry piece. The yellow gold tone looks expensive and compliments my skin tone perfectly. I will purchase a Salara bracelet in the future to have a complete set. Highly recommend.
