Our silver items have a protective lacquer finish to help prevent oxidation. To care for our silver items, simply wipe down your pieces with a dry, 100% cotton cloth.
Keep them away from water, jewelry cleaners, silver cleaners, treated polishing cloths, perfumes, hairspray, lotions, hand-sanitizers and make-up. We offer our own Brighton jewelry cleaner that you can safely use.

Hi Terri! We appreciate your feedback, and are so sorry to see the tarnishing. Our jewelry is silver plated with a protective lacquer finish. Once that finish has worn away and the underlying metal is exposed, the tarnishing unfortunately cannot be restored or polished back to its original appearance. To help preserve the finish on silver-plated jewelry, we recommend avoiding water, lotions, perfumes, and other chemicals whenever possible. We truly appreciate your feedback and hope you're able to continue enjoying your Brighton pieces for years to come. 💕
Ordered a size 8 and it was beautiful, crisp, and shiny. Unfortunately, it was too small. I exchanged it for a size 9, but the quality was completely different. The new ring is dull, and the gold/copper plating bled all over the silver parts. Deeply disappointed by the inconsistent quality.
