    Beautiful Belt

    Buckle Issue

    Bought this belt at a nice gift shop and have loved it as a go-to. However, I have had to handle the buckle with Great Care from the start. Four times the tongue for the buckle has slipped through the buckle frame as the tongue rest is slanted. The only way to fix the issue is to bend the tongue with pliers to fit back through the buckle and then bend the tongue back to it's original shape. It doesn't appear I can intentionally push the tongue through the buckle, it just magically happens for no apparent reason. You go to fasten the belt and it's like 'whut?' Result is I now buckle the belt when not in use and put on with great care. My guess is the internal bar holding the tongue is too narrow and the tongue shifts, allowing it to shift through the buckle. Lovely belt, but buckle construction needs considerable inprovement. Very frustrating. 3 stars just because I love that it's reversible, love the look of the buckle in spite of it's issues, and the belt's 'leather' holds up well.
