This is my second Ambrose Belt, while I am absolutely in love with the simplistic design of this belt, my first one was perfect. I purchased it probably 8 months to a year ago, it is now too big. (Even added new holes) So, I ordered a smaller one, which I will keep but I am disappointed in the quality of the new one compared to the older one. The buckle is not as heavy as the older one, same size but not the same weight. The leather belt of the new one is a much thinner quality of leather, almost feels like plastic, smooth on both sides, and does not smell like leather. My older one, definitely leather, much thicker, rough like leather on the inside and smells of real leather. It's a beautiful belt, and I wouldn't probably had not known the difference in quality if I hadn't already purchased one before.

I love this belt. Beautifully made and leather is soft but hardy. Have not worn yet, but am excited to.
