    Holiday Communication Disappointing

    I placed my order on December 19th with no indication that this was not going to arrive in time for Christmas. I had been getting several daily emails from Brighton encouraging me to place a holiday order. I decided on a specific necklace and did an online order. I realize December 19th is right before Christmas, but usually an email is sent letting you know when to expect your order. I would have happily paid more to have expedited shipping had they let me know in time how late it was going to be. It was several days before a got my delivery notice which stated this would arrive on December 30th. I was shocked and disappointed. Had they let me know how late this was going to arrive I would have cancelled the order and tried to find the item at a local store that carries Brighton jewelry. I sent them an email immediately stating I would be returning the item as soon as it arrived. The necklace it pretty, but I had no special gift for my daughter. This particular heart was symbolic as she has been going through a tough time in her life.
