For the past 3+ years, my mother has been wearing the same silver cross necklace. No-one would bother buying her necklaces, because they all knew she would only stick to one. I took a chance recently and bought the mother pendant for her birthday. The moment she opened it, her face lit up. She immediately took her cross off, and replaced it with her new necklace. It has just enough detail to make a statement without having to be borderline gaudy. The length is perfect. You can wear any shirt without the necklace being hidden underneath, so it's always visible. I'm extremely happy with it
