Almost all ladies belt suppliers—including our most direct competitors—size their ladies fashion belts in letter sizes (S, M, L etc.) rather than number sizes (30, 32, 34, etc.) By switching over to letter sizes, we have brought ourselves into alignment with the industry standard.
Additionally, almost all ladies belt suppliers cut belts designed to be worn on the waist differently—smaller—than they cut belts designed to be worn on the hips. Here is an example: This is the size-scale that our competitor Linea Pelle uses:
The purpose of sizing waist belts differently than hip belts is so that a customer who is, for example, a Medium, can wear an “M” in every style. Thus an “M” designed to be worn on her waist will fit her, as will an “M” designed to be worn on her hips. She doesn’t have to wear an “M” in a waist belt but an “L” in a hip belt.
We realize that not every woman will wear a belt in the same way and some belts can be worn on the upper hip area rather than lower, etc. We have carefully considered every style and sized it to accommodate the most likely usage of the belt.

• All measurements match the inside diameter of the ring
• If your finger measurement falls between sizes, order the larger size
• Fingers, like brains, are smaller in the morning and bigger by the end of the day. Measure your fingers at the end of the day.
• Take multiple measurements to ensure an accurate reading.
• Weather and temperature affect finger size. Do these measurements where it's moderately warm.
• If you have large knuckles, measure both the base of your finger and your knuckle and select a size between the two.
• Fingers tend to be one half-size larger on your dominant hand
