As a recovering sorority sister, I still miss my Kappa sisters! Since graduation, they’ve scattered from the Peach State all the way to the Golden Gate. Patti – the one I miss most – has bling

bling to spare. (With my budget, I usually have to stop at one bling.)

She was my big sister, and will always be part of my heart. In fact, our favorite jewelry was a charm with half a heart – that we’d join together to make one whole heart! Just last week, I visited her in Katy, Texas. As her limo pulled up, I looked down and saw what was on her wrist – thinking that it was priceless. But that bracelet with adorable charms, including an oilrig and armadillo – was a Brighton Texas Charm Bracelet!

I said, “Take me straight to The Cottage Door!” Well, I got my Texas bracelet – and Rosemary, who owns the store, said there were bracelets for 6 more states…Nevada, Georgia, California, Hawaii, Florida and Arizona. And – how perfect is this? – you can only get the bracelets by visiting that state.

So Patti and I have matching jewelry again, one heart to another… and the greatest excuse ever to visit our other “sister” states!
