Reduce. Re-Use. Recycle.

I try, but I'll confess...last week, a soda can was peeking out of the wrong trash bin, and my neighbor Sue "busted me" - shot me a disapproving stare.

But I found a great way to get back into her good graces...I invited her to Brighton's Handbag Trade-In.

I just knew this was the kind of environmental improvement we could bond over...after all, our handbag-crammed closets have a lot in common with an overcrowded landfill!

It's because we love our handbags, and Sue & I (and maybe you?)...are "keepers", not "tossers". So how do we make room for those cute new bags we've fallen head-over-handles for? It's easy. We'll each grab one old handbag from the rubble in our closets, and head straight for the Trade-In.

But we'll have to hurry...it only lasts from July 30th - August 8th 2004. (Sue's saving $50 off the new Keely Croco Shoulderbag with a cool outside cell phone pocket, and I'll get $50 off the Dominique Suede Ziptop - that soft, velvety suede is irresistible!) And guess what? Our trade-in bags are going to a woman's charity, right in our town!

It's a little like saving the world, one handbag at a time!

something nice for somebody
