Fashionista Fashionista Hard Shell Weekender Travel at Brighton

I travel for business, usually 3-4 days at a time. I have been on 4 trips in 2 months with this bag and could not be happier. It is roomy and can hold plenty of clothes for this plus size gal. Even packed, the suitcase weights in around 20 lbs so is light enough to stow in the overhead bin if I want. I can easily spot this cute case at baggage claim. This was a Christmas gift from my husband and although he was a little shocked at the price, he is thrilled that I can pack everything I need in a bag that is easy for me to maneuver.

On October 19, 2012:
I love this weekender. I can pack it for a week with no problem. I love the hard shell, and the wheels work better than any suitcase I have ever used. The bag doesn't tip over when full, and the handle extends to a perfect length for me. I am planning a trip for next year that will involve air travel, and I am going to check out the clear covers and see if one will fit. I used to travel with a woman who had a very expensive piece of luggage, and she but it in a travel cover before she turned it over to the airlines.

Very compact, and yet still very spacious, durable and just plain ol' fun and cute! Because this is a hard case the two sides are deep which accommodate/substantial room for clothing and shoes. I just took a five day business trip and was able to pack approx. 15 pieces of regular size clothing (2 pairs/dress slacks, suit jacket, shirts, blouses, etc), 3 pairs/shoes, toiletries and jewelry. There are two zipper pouches, one removable. Both sides contain straps to keep contents in place as well as one zipper flap/cover. The bag, when loaded is not heavy and easy to lift as well as maneuver in the overhead compartments within the aircraft!! The wheels move 360 degrees making it easy to walk in the aircraft isles, on escalators, etc. As for the look...I receive many compliments and it makes traveling fun again. As I tell my husband, "I love my Fashionista suitcase!" My only disappointment is that the cost of this case is equivalent to a Brighton registered bag, but the case is not a registered item. (Hint: the case comes covered in thin plastic, almost unnoticeable so I left it on for my first trip as another way to protect it. Worked great.)
