Phoebe's Plaque Deena Book Bag Totes at Brighton

This is a beautiful bag and very functional as a tote bag for my school stuff (I'm a teacher). I found the reviews regarding lack of bottom support very helpful. Because I'm using it as a tote and not a purse, I'm also going to take it to the shoe store and have a stiffer bottom inserted and feet added. If you do not need it to sit upright when on the ground, this is irrelevant to you. As much as I love this bag, I have no qualms spending the extra money to make it perfect for my needs.

I love this bag! It is light weight, not too big and holds everything with the right amount of pockets. I love the zipper and outside pockets. I would purchase in a minute if it came in brown or tan. Keeping the zipper and outside pockets is a must!!

I collect expensive work friendly bags all over the world. This is the most beautifully light, high quality, user-friendly bag I have ever owned. It is perfect for work, travel, even for baby stuff, very professional, sleek, light, holds everything and more, cute and the charms and details are spectacular!

I can get all my small electronics, clutch wallet and travel necessities in this bag. It is light and is easy to slide under the seat in front of me. I carry it as my personal item and then can stow a traditional carry on and never have to fumble through the larger bag in flight. I have everything I need in easy reach.

The size, weight, and look of this tote is excellent. The wrap-around pockets outside are most helpful and the shoulder drop length is great!! I have many totes but this is the best ever for my needs. Would love to see more companion pieces to it.

For the price, this is a great bag. I stuff it with gear: iPad, laptop & accessories, small camera and TV, and the only problem is indeed the lack of a solid bottom. Things shift around too much. Same thing with the exterior pockets, a little too much shifting around. Still, love this bag!

It is such a shame that we all love Brighton purses but they [Brighton] doesn't think about things like the bottom saging and lack of legs to keep our purses off the floor, etc.

I too have gone to visit the shoe maker!

this is a very lightweight and professional bag that is perfect for laptop or ipad and other business related items except that it doesn't have a substantial bottom lining so the weight of a laptop and a few folders pushes through the bottom of the bag distorting it. I liked the bag enough to have a shoemaker open the lining and insert a cardboard base for support. hopefully Brighton will do something to reinforce the bottom in the future.
