On November 11, 2012: This necklace is really beautiful. I love the engraving on the back. The red stones are red and kind of an off-red color... I do wish they were a brighter red, but it's still beautiful.
GORGEOUS SERVICE STAR BANNER PENDANT
By GPS CLUB Of Northeast Ohio from Cleveland, OH
On October 22, 2012: We have an organization called the Northeast Ohio GPS (Graduate Parents' Support) Club which is a support group for friendship and fellowship amongst parents of West Point Graduates. We stumbled upon this beautiful pendant the other day and purchased it for a fundraiser! We raised nearly $500.00 by offering it as a prize for the highest voluntary donation to our organization. We have many happy parents who are interested in purchasing this lovely pendant and of course, we would be thrilled to have Brighton donate to our organization! The Service Star is to be displayed only by immediate family of a son or daughter serving at a time of war. I know it will be enjoyed by our families as their sons and daughters serve often in harm's way.
DID YOU REALIZE?
By Melissa from Hermitage, TN
On September 13, 2012: Not sure that Brighton did the right research before putting this necklace out. This is the same symbol as a "Blue Star Flag" - which is a small flag that is displayed at the home of a deployed soldier. In addition, there are lots of pins and jewelry, etc just like this - but not as nice as this. I have purchased every piece of the Americana Collection, but each time I look at this necklace and think about purchasing it, it reminds me of my husband's deployments. And since deployments are nothing to be celebrated - I keep telling myself I'll wait to purchase it when/if he deploys again. Then it occurred to me that Brighton should be giving this necklace to those of us on the Home Front during a deployment. Beautiful piece of jewelry sure would put a bright spin on a day during deployment.
A must have for a military spouse

On August 20, 2012: I love this necklace. The chain is delicate and the flag sparkles really beautifully. The blue star represents that you have a loved one overseas. Please don't discontinue this necklace! :)
Would Love a 2 Star Version!
By Amy from Naperville, IL
On August 9, 2012: My husband is serving Active Duty and my mother-in-law loves Brighton. However, my brother-in-law is also serving so she would need a 2 star one. I love love this necklace, but I would really appreciate it if you made a 2 star version so I could get one for her too.

On June 29, 2012: I am a 2 blue star Mom. I would LOVE to have this with 2 stars. I will most likely get the single star as well.
Never seen anything quite like this.
By Kathy from Ft Worth, TX
On June 23, 2012: This design actually signifies that the wearer has a loved one who is Active Duty Military during a time of war or conflict. I wish you made it with two stars. This design with a gold star signifies the wearer as lost a love one Active Duty Military in war.
Gorgeous and Patriotic
By Torie from San Francisco, CA
On June 22, 2012: I love this necklace! It looks dainty and feminine, but not fragile, and it is very easy to get on and off. I have a family member on active duty in the military, and with 4th of July just around the corner, I was so happy to get this gorgeous, quality piece from my favorite store!

On June 17, 2012: Love the rectangular shape of this Swarovski studded stylized American flag. Shades of red around the border, clear crystals inside and a blue star in the center. All are very sparkly and eye catching. I love that it says "God Bless America" on the reverse. Of the 3 American necklaces, this one has a very nice chain. The other two styles have a chain that looks like something I won at a 5th grade carnival, kind of dull & cheesy. I keep loads of complements on this Flag necklace.
