Same thing happened to me

Although I had the watch for over a year before it tarnished, once it appeared, it quickly went downhill. The watch face is fine, but the back is tarnished. Sounds like there maybe was a manufacturing defect since someone else reported the same problem. I just turned mine in to see if they could help me out, even if I have to buy new bands. Never had this happen with any of my other Brighton jewelry.

Finish wore off in a month

I purchased this watch in Sacramento, loved it, received lots of compliments on it. And within a month, the finish had worn off of the face and chain, and Brighton had no explanation for why that would happen and could (or would) do nothing to repair it. Now I'm left with something that looks tarnished and leprous. I have loved all of my Brighton jewelry up to this point, but my bad experience with this piece has made me unwilling to make future purchases.
