Cannot get this to fit over my suitcase!

On January 16, 2013:
I purchased the 24-inch expandable case and wanted to protect it. I bought this protective cover, but have not been able to get it to fit over the case. I have spent at least 2 hours trying to get it in the correct orientation (following the attached directions), but have given up. My husband helped me the first time but we had to give up due to time constraints. I tried again once I got back, but to no avail. I used it again last week and had to cover it with the plastic bag that came with the original package (not very elegant), but at least it protected the bag from scratches and dings.

I love this to protect my beloved Brighton bag, but I have gone through 3 of them due to the corners of the bag, the zippers wear out rapidly. This is due to all the flights I take weekly.
